167: 23 by Torture and the Desert Spiders

I can’t recall exactly how I came across Torture and the Desert Spiders, it was either an Instagram ad or my Spotify algorithm. I do remember the song, their latest single, “Working On Myself,” which had that raw energy I mentioned I’ve been really digging the last couple of weeks. They’ve got a lot more listens than what usually qualifies an artist to be featured, but it was too good not to share. I’m featuring “23” because it’s my favorite number and the lyrics really resonated with me.
