034: Backseat Taxi by Robot Tennis Club

We have our first repeat artist this week, sort of—not really. Robot Tennis Club is a three-piece band from Colorado. One of them, Laura, also happens to be a member of Dead Boyfriend, featured in episode 30. I fell in love with every song on their album, If These Walls Could Talk, You Wouldn’t Listen, but “Backseat Taxi” stuck out because it just fades out at the end. I’m not the biggest fan of songs that do that, but Laura sent a great clip with more insight and how they originally intended for the song to end.
