163: good day (a really really really really good day) by Addie Addie Addie

I found Addie through producer Rod. We went to see her improv comedy show Everything’s Great! at Dynasty Typewriter right around the end of the pandemic. Beth Stelling also did a set that night, and I was laughing so hard my mask kept getting sucked into my mouth. It was disgusting and gross, but also the hardest I’ve ever laughed. I’m sharing “good day (a really really really really good day)” because it has the lowest play count in her catalog, but also because it gave me the boost I needed to get through September. Addie was also an inspiration a few months back when she put out these really cool, handmade CDs. Kudos to her for putting her art out into the world, and for reminding small artists everywhere to keep creating.
